For volunteers from the United States, they will have the opportunity to experience life in another culture, in a developing country that is geographically close, yet a world apart. Volunteers from the United States will work side by side with program participants. All will realize that language is not the barrier, that it is fear and lack of information. In this environment, inhibitions are shed and everyone has the opportunity to question and learn. The locals make a lunch of rice, beans and tortillas that is shared by all. At the end of the day, strangers have become friends and life-time memories are made. It is a long day, but the smiles and tears that are shared makes all the hardwork and sweat disappear. Volunteers return to the United States with an adventure to share and a new perspective on life.
We rely upon sponsors for 80% of our support. Print the application, fill it in and mail it, with your deposit, to the office.
