I first got involved with Corazón through Saint Thomas Moore Church in Irvine. I was first drawn to Corazón because it provided a tangible, hands-on way to help other people with very basic material needs who live so close to home. I kept returning and became a true believer when I experienced the sense of community that comes from working with great people from both sides of the border. Corazón builds have been a transforming experience for my whole family.
Fun fact: Mike was one of the first people to go through Corazon’s Red Shirt program and in his spare time, Mike likes to ride things with two wheels - mountain bikes, road bikes, and dual sport motorcycles.
